    Two banjos and a ukulele – some people’s idea of a nightmare, but I’m with you, Doug – I’d love to hear their music. According to David Marc Klein (Thank you for the information, especially about the fur-lined undergarments.) they were popular – perhaps enough that there are recordings? A quest for the idle, for sure!

    Ah yes, the Finkleman sisters. A very popular singing group from the 1930’s. They spent summers in the Catskills entertaining in the big hotels. They went into clothing, specializing in fur-lined undergarments. They became very wealthy and moved to San Francisco. The three never got married.
